David Bethell - Project Manager
David joined Cambridgeshire Horizons in November 2008 after having worked in Local Government on greenspace, countryside access and environmental projects since March 2000. Previous to this he worked for a community development and archaeological project in Peru and also for a national nature conservation and heritage organisation. David has a BA degree in Geography and a Masters degree in Protected Landscape Management.
David's key focus at Horizons is to develop, manage and implement the programming of green infrastructure projects detailed in the Green Infrastructure Strategy and other relevant strategies. He also works to ensure the inclusion of green infrastructure in major developments in accordance with the development strategy for the Cambridgeshire Growth Area. David's role is co-managed between Cambridgeshire Horizons and Cambridgeshire County Council.
