Geoff Bruce - Delivery Manager
Geoff is a chartered civil engineer with over 25 years experience in highways, transport, planning, development and property. He came to Cambridge in 1989 to work on the transport implications of new settlements and major developments and to lead the highways development control team. Geoff remained at Cambridgeshire County Council until joining Cambridgeshire Horizons in early 2008 as a Delivery Manager, bringing with him a wealth of relevant experience.
He was responsible for securing many major development-related highways projects in Cambridgeshire and, later, for delivering Cambridgeshire's first local transport plan. More recently, he managed the partnership that brought the £4 million library and medical centre to Cambourne (Sackville House); he was a key contributor to development of Cambridgeshire County Council's new office accommodation strategy and subsequent implementation of the change management programme, "WorkWise".
He also has experience in community development schemes and property and asset management, and has project-managed a range of other business change and finance projects.
