Learning and development prospectus

The Quality Charter Learning and Development Programme aimed to ensure that local authority members and officers responsible for planning, delivering and maintaining sustainable new communities were better equipped with the skills and knowledge required to take forward the vision set out in the Cambridgeshire Quality Charter for Growth.

In 2010, a new online prospectus was launched to guide elected members, officers and partners through a journey of learning and skills development. The prospectus offered a forward calendar of learning opportunities, setting out clear course objectives and learning outcomes, and was driven by the following aims and objectives:

• Improved leadership capabilities
• Better joint working
• Increased efficiencies
• Better use of resources
• Successful change management
